Terms & Conditions

1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for boat rentals concluded between Boats Point Kyrenia (hereinafter “Lessor”) and the customer (hereinafter “Lessee”).

2. Conclusion of Contract

By booking a boat via our website or email, the Lessee submits a binding offer to conclude a rental agreement. The contract becomes effective once the Lessor confirms the booking in writing (e.g., by email).

3. Rental Period and Return

The agreed rental period and return time are binding.
If the boat is returned late, additional rental charges will apply.
The boat must be returned clean, undamaged, and (if applicable) refueled. A cleaning fee may be charged if the boat is returned excessively dirty.

4. Rental Price, Payment and Deposit

The rental price is based on the current price list valid at the time of booking.
The full amount is due before the rental begins.
The Lessor reserves the right to request a security deposit, payable in cash or by credit card.
In case of damage, the deposit may be withheld in full or in part to cover the costs of repairs.

5. Obligations of the Lessee

- The Lessee agrees to operate the boat properly, responsibly, and in accordance with the provided instructions and legal regulations.
- A boating license is required where applicable. If no license is needed, the Lessor will provide a mandatory safety briefing.
- The boat may only be operated by the person named in the rental contract. Subletting or transferring the boat to third parties is prohibited.
- The Lessee is liable for any damage caused by misuse, negligence, or violation of the terms of use.

6. Cancellation by the Lessee

Cancellations are free of charge up to 7 days before the rental date.
In case of later cancellation, the following fees apply:
- up to 3 days before rental: 50% of the rental fee
- on the day of rental or in case of no-show: 100% of the rental fee

7. Cancellation by the Lessor / Weather Conditions

The Lessor reserves the right to cancel or interrupt the rental due to adverse weather, force majeure, or safety concerns.
Any payments made will be credited in the form of a voucher or refunded upon agreement.
No additional compensation claims can be made by the Lessee.

8. Data Protection

Personal data will be processed solely for the purpose of executing the rental agreement and in accordance with applicable data protection laws (especially the GDPR). Data will not be shared with third parties unless legally required or necessary for contractual performance.
For further details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Liability

The Lessor assumes no liability for loss or damage to personal belongings of the Lessee or their companions.
The Lessee is fully liable for any damages to the boat caused by improper handling or negligence.
Use of the boat is at the Lessee’s own risk.

10. Final Provisions

Should any provision of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
The law of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus applies. The place of jurisdiction is Kyrenia.
